Bradford West Gwillimbury's Mom 2 Mom Sale was started in 2008 by a group of Moms who met at the local Ontario Early Years Centre in the Life with Baby Program. Knowing the incredible growth that Bradford has been experiencing and the number of young families settling in our community, they felt that a second hand children's item sale could greatly benefit these families.
The committee decided to have the sale be a fundraiser and to keep the funds raised within the community, benefiting more families. They have raised over $4000 for the Bradford Helping Hands Food Bank through the money raised from vendor table rental fees and the affordable event admission fee.
This sale is a win-win community event! Those who rent a table benefit from the money made by selling their child related items and Moms and Dads who attend the sale are able to find deals on many of their child related needs. A great way for vendors to make a few dollars and buyers to save a few!
